Greeneville is Tennessee’s second oldest town. It was named after a Revolutionary War hero Nathanael Greene and was the home of the 17th President Andrew Johnson. The town features the Andrew Jackson National Historic Site, National Cemetery and many hiking trails, including the Appalachian Trail.
